Game updated 2026-10-22 (Halloween 2026 event). The DLL mods that needed a rebuild (CDCompat and Anti-Lag) have new builds. A copy installed before the update switches itself off in the new game without telling you, so download it again and replace it in MintCat. Status of each mod →

MY MODS / Unified UI

Unified UI (Arthur build)

Not my original mod: based on Unified UI ↗ by Miracoulon and Truman Kilen / AssemblyStorm, maintained by Zombieseatflesh7Based on Unified UI ↗; not an official releaseOnly you need itNot affected

Too many mods, list too long to find anything? This build of Unified UI lets you colour-tag every mod; same colours sit together, so you can tell at a glance which mod is which.

In five seconds

  • Colour dot: every mod name in the left list gets a small square dot in front of it.
  • Click to change colour: none → red → orange → yellow → green → blue → purple; the name takes that colour.
  • Same colours sit together: the list groups itself by colour; untagged mods go last.
  • ▲▼ to order: click a row and ▲▼ appear next to its name; they move it inside its colour group.
  • Stars still on top: stars, search and author display work exactly as in the original Unified UI.

Illustration, not a game screenshot: the left list. Starred mods on top, then red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple groups, untagged last; the selected row has ▲▼.

Also: the “Mod Keybindings” page

“Mod Keybindings” page: a new row in the list that shows the keys other mods added to the game’s input settings (not DRG’s own keys; for example SakuraMods’ Show Predicting Line, Damage List and Order Beer). Click the key box and press a new key to rebind: chords with Ctrl / Alt / Shift / Win, mouse side or middle buttons; Esc cancels; Clear unbinds. It applies immediately, is kept in the page’s own save (UnifiedUIModKeys.sav) and re-applied every time a map loads. Gamepad keys are never touched. The page switches between Chinese and English.

Known limits

This is not an official Unified UI release. I rebuilt it from the MIT source of Unified UI 0.0.9 with my own changes; the original is by Miracoulon and Truman Kilen (AssemblyStorm) and is maintained by Zombieseatflesh7. If anything goes wrong with this build, report it to me, not to the Unified UI authors; it is not their problem.

  • Colour tags are keyed by the mod’s display name: two mods with the same name share one tag, and a renamed mod starts untagged.
  • With a search active, ▲▼ may swap with a row the search hides, so one press can look like nothing happened. A failed save write is silent.
  • The keybindings page hides keys owned by DRGLib-based mods (Sandbox Utilities, Space Rig Hotkeys, Alternate Player List, Modular Player UI, Customize Weapon FOV and DRGLib itself): DRGLib resets those keys at every launch, so a change here would not last; change them in those mods’ own settings. Unified UI’s own open-menu key is not listed either; it is changed on Unified UI’s Settings page. The hidden list is fixed to my mod set of 2026-10-20, so another DRGLib-based mod would show up under “Other” and its change would be reset at the next launch.
  • A mod that shows its key text on its own settings page may still show the old key after a rebind, even though the new one is in effect. Axes on the keybindings page are read-only. If DRG’s own keys (WASD and so on) ever misbehave after a rebind, restarting the game restores them; please tell me.

How this differs from Mod Hub

  • Unified UI and Mod Hub: both are in-game mod menus, and most DRG mods put their settings page in one. Mod Hub (H key) came first; Unified UI ↗ (B by default, or Shift+F9) re-implemented the same interface as a lighter alternative, so settings pages made for Mod Hub mostly work in it unchanged. When this site’s other mod pages say “Mod Hub or Unified UI”, these two are what they mean.
  • Why I use Unified UI instead of Mod Hub: (1) The two cannot be on at the same time: with both enabled, Sandbox Utilities calls Mod Hub’s “Close Hub” and the game crashes (I hit this on 2026-10-19); the Unified UI authors also say on mod.io that using it alongside Mod Hub is not recommended. (2) Lighter and built for stability: the authors describe it as a lightweight re-implementation of the Mod Hub interface whose feature scope will never grow beyond a central settings menu for mods; the file is 163 KB, Mod Hub 1.2.5 is 1.68 MB. (3) Settings pages made for Mod Hub mostly work: the authors say about 95% of mods that use Mod Hub’s interface work in Unified UI. (4) This build has things Mod Hub does not: colour tags and grouping; and its keybindings page lists every key other mods added, while Mod Hub 1.2.5’s Keybindings page lists only keys registered through Mod Hub’s RegisterKeybinding, and the stock Unified UI has no keybindings page at all.
  • The source is open (MIT). Unified UI’s source is on GitHub ↗, and this build comes from it: apart from the two list widgets that were recompiled and the files I added, everything is the untouched 0.0.9 content from mod.io. The full licence and CREDITS are in the ZIP.
  • Separate saves: colours and order live in their own file (SaveGames/Mods/UnifiedUI/UnifiedUITags.sav), keys in UnifiedUIModKeys.sav; Unified UI’s own save (stars, settings) is untouched, so your existing stars stay when you switch to this build.

Install

  1. Fully close the game. In your mod manager (MintCat or mintfixed) disable Mod Hub and the mod.io Unified UI; two menus enabled at once crash the game (see above).

  2. Download UnifiedUI-Arthur-0.0.9-arthur.4.zip, add the whole ZIP to your mod manager and enable it (or unzip it and add only UnifiedUI-Arthur.pak). The other two files in the ZIP are Unified UI’s licence and CREDITS.

  3. In game, press B (or Shift+F9) to open the menu. Every mod name has a colour dot; selecting a row shows ▲▼; a new row “Mod Keybindings” is in the list (its in-game label is bilingual).

  4. Other mods’ settings pages appear in this menu as usual. Stars and settings you already had in Unified UI are kept.
