Into The Dark

T5CD2

AuthorIt features a periodic day-night cycle, where the enemies get a lot more dangerous during the night. Red swarmers appear just before it gets dark.

Chart editorVery unique difficulty made thanks to the Darkness module in CD2. It doesn't have swarms, similar to Send It style diffs, but the concept of bright and dark illumination works in the same way: stay together during the night cycle and push during the day cycle. There are yellow and red swarmers that work as indicators that either the day or the night are coming.

Enemy packs

No enemy packs needed Uses vanilla enemies only.

Stats at a glance

Numbers read directly from the code file. Fields that change during a mission are only marked “dynamic”; we don’t compute them. Fields the file leaves out fall back to vanilla and aren’t listed.

This version’s notes (from the file, original language)

CLIENTS REQUIRE CD2. Into the Dark uses the diffulty with constant, fast waves and a day night cycle. During the day, few enemies spawn and light works mostly like normal, while at night most light sources stop working, more enemies spawn and things just become generally more dangerous.

About tier T5

Another step-up from the previous tier, the difficulties listed here are fairly hard on average, most make use of MEV and DEA to add many new disruptor enemies and have very strict pacing requirements.
